Dignity Health’s Contract with Anthem in Danger

Anthem Blue Cross and Dignity Health have been in the process of renegotiating their commercial hospital contract for the last several months to reach an agreement on reimbursement rates and make other contractual changes to their current contract that has nearly expired. To date, neither party has come to an agreement and Anthem has issued a warning that their contract with Dignity Health may end effective July 15th, 2018. 1. I hope they reach an agreement soon! I love my physicians with mercy medical group and am having anxiety about the possibility of changing!

    1. I certainly hope so as well. Luckily, there’s still a lot of health plans out there that have Mercy Medical in their network. There’s still hope that Dignity and Anthem will negotiate their contract. If things go south, let me know and I’ll see if there’s anything we can do for you.
